12-year-old dart prodigy who beat women鈥檚 number one
A 12-year-old girl from Doncaster is proving herself to be the wunderkind of darts. Beau Greaves threw her first dart just two years ago playing against her brother, and has since claimed victory over teams at national and European competitions.
Beau, who鈥檚 dart playing nickname is 鈥楤eau and arrow鈥, recently beat the women鈥檚 world number one Trina Gulliver in a county match. She said: 鈥淪he raised my hand up in the air and said 鈥榯his is your future world champion鈥, which was nice of her to say.鈥
Her brother informed their parents of Beau鈥檚 potential. She then went down to play in the local pub league with her Dad.
Her mother Tracy said: 鈥淵ou could see by their faces they thought 鈥榳ho鈥檚 she?鈥 鈥 they didn鈥檛 think that when she was beating them though!鈥
