大象传媒 Arabic's Nawal al-Maghafi planned a two week visit to Yemen to make a programme about the impact of the ongoing fighting on the country's children: one in three are at risk of malnutrition. It made shocking viewing. But her visit was also unexpectedly extended to two months when a lull in the fighting broke down, and she had to wait to be evacuated by the UN. She tells David Amanor about the impact of such an extended visit on her understanding of the crisis.

Living through the Turkish crisis
