Niall Horan: This Ryder Cup crowd is absolutely mad
One Direction singer Niall Horan says the crowd at this year’s Ryder Cup in Minnesota is 'mad'.
Ryder Cup spectators are renowned for their relative rowdiness compared to other golf events, and the Irishman admits the atmosphere has taken him aback.
"They're absolutely mad, I've never witnessed anything like it in my life," Horan told ´óÏó´«Ã½ Radio 5 live Sport's Eilidh Barbour at Hazeltine on Friday.
"It's been the craziest couple of days - even when we played in the celebrity game on Tuesday it was nuts. It's been a great atmosphere so far."
John Inverdale presents comprehensive coverage of the Ryder Cup on 5 live Sport throughout the tournament, which continues until Sunday.
