Farage on obscene Trump remarks: People do talk like that
Nigel Farage says obscene remarks made about women by US presidential candidate Donald Trump are 鈥渢he sort of thing that some men do鈥.
The UKIP interim leader said it was 鈥渁ll well and good for the media to moralise鈥 but 鈥渁 lot of people do talk like that鈥 and say 鈥渁ll sorts of boastful things to each other鈥.
Asked by 大象传媒 Radio 5 live鈥檚 Rachel Burden if he would find such comments acceptable 鈥渁round a pub table,鈥 Mr Farage said: 鈥淣o. I鈥檝e heard it many times throughout my life and I鈥檝e always felt slightly awkward by it鈥.
Mr Trump's remarks, made 11 years ago, have led at least 33 senior Republicans to withdraw their support from his presidential bid. Mr Trump said the words 鈥渄on't reflect who I am... I apologise".
