El Paso taxi driver describes life on US/Mexico border
Jorge, known to his friends as George, has been a taxi driver in El Paso, Texas for the last 15 years. He says the US/Mexico border has 鈥渃hanged drastically鈥 in that time.
He told 5 live Drive鈥檚 Anna Foster people would 鈥渃limb the fence鈥 or 鈥渏ump out of manhole covers鈥 to get across the border.
鈥淭heir hands were all bloodied because they used to jump the chain-link fence.鈥
On Donald Trump鈥檚 idea of building a giant wall between the two countries, Jorge believes it wouldn鈥檛 make much difference.
鈥淵ou could build a 100-foot wall and people are going to get by, they鈥檒l find a way.鈥
