De Montfort University's Brexit Speech
"International staff and students in Leicester and the UK say that they are already being made to feel like outsiders, unwanted and alien."
Those are the strong words from a university Vice-chancellor in Leicester who's called policies proposed by the Home Secretary "deeply un-British".
Last week Amber Rudd announced the Government would be cracking down on students from outside the EU coming to study in the UK, pledging a limit to the number who are allowed to study on "lower quality courses". But Professor Dominic Shellard from De Monfort University says there is simply no way measures like those can be considered to represent the views of people in the UK.
He's due to deliver a speech on campus to staff and students today (11/10/16), but before then joined Jim and Jo in the studio.
