The 'lungs of the sea' are under threat

Seagrass meadows, which provide shelter and food for fish, are in danger, scientists say.
They are found in shallow waters of coastal regions on every continent except Antarctica, but are declining globally at a rate of about 2% a year. Dr Richard Unsworth from Swansea University in Wales wants global action to protect them. So why are they so important?
