‘Tyson Fury will absolutely box again’ says uncle
The British Boxing Board of Control (BBBofC) has suspended Tyson Fury’s licence "pending further investigation into anti-doping and medical issues".
Fury has not fought since beating Wladimir Klitschko in November 2015 and has twice withdrawn from scheduled rematches, he then admitted that he was taking cocaine to help deal with depression. He vacated the WBO and WBA World heavyweight titles to focus on "medical treatment and recovery".
Speaking before the suspension, his Uncle and Trainer, Peter Fury, said: “Vacating the titles was the only option, he realises where he is and it was pretty hard for him, but he understands he needs total rest.â€
Peter believes we will see the troubled boxer return: “You will see him in the ring again. Boxing is in his life, It's in his blood, It's in his veins - he doesn't know anything else.â€
