Hannah Cockroft: Be inspired by my medals, not by my chair
Five-time Paralympic champion Hannah Cockroft explains her complicated relationship with the word inspiration.
Cockroft, who won three wheelchair track golds at the Rio Games and two at London 2012, says she only wants to be called an inspiration for the right reasons.
"The amount of people who call you inspiration and they pat you on the head and say 'you do so well' and you look at them, and you just know, they have no idea what you have done with your life," Cockroft said.
"They are just saying that because you are sat there with a gold medal. They are the people I have a problem with."
