Terry Waite in Lyneham 25 years on
The former Beirut hostage Terry Waite has returned to Wiltshire to reunite with two men who worked with him after his release from captivity.
Terry was captured in Beirut in 1987 and spent five years in captivity.
He was freed in 1991 and his plane returning him to the UK landed at RAF Lyneham in 1991.
Terry was greeted by Wing Commander Clive Cooper who had orchestrated his arrival at the base as well as Dr Gordon Turnbull a Psychologist who debriefed him and worked with both him and his family.
Last week in a reunion arranged by 大象传媒 Wiltshire the three men revisited the base at Lyneham together for the first time since November 1991 and shared their memories of the day.
