The song scientifically proven to make babies smile
A Grammy award-winning singer has become the first singer to release a song that is scientifically proven to make your baby smile.
鈥楾he Happy Song鈥 is a two-and-a-half minute long jingle, with lyrics about the sky, the sea and animals.
5 live鈥檚 Michelle Dignan tested it on her four-month-old baby 鈥 you can see the result in the picture!
It was created by C&G Baby Club and Felt Music, based on the research of Goldsmith University Psychologists, Professor鈥檚 Lauren Stewart and Caspar Addyman, who spoke to 5 live.
He said the song contains different elements that appeal to babies, such as a 鈥渇emale voice 鈥 babies love a female voice 鈥 and had to be in a major key鈥.
Along with Stewart, Addyman played four melodies to a group of babies and said there was a 鈥渃lear preference鈥 for 鈥楾he Happy Song鈥.
