A singing workshop in Hull features an award winning globe-trotting classical singer and educator. Michael Harper will be exploring the influence of the Fisk Jubilee Singers. In 1870, as freed slaves they travelled to Hull from Tennessee to perform in the city. Their musical legacy lives on and Michael explains their story and gives people taking part in the workshops the chance to replicate their sound which has influenced today's music.
Neil talks to Ruchita Green from the Hindu Cultural Society of Grimsby about Diwali celebrations in Grimsby.
There's news of the launch of an exhibition linked to a new Estuary Television documentary looking at the contribution made by hundreds of trawlermen from Hull and Grimsby during the First World War. Neil speaks with Charlotte Smith, one of the relatives of a crew member of the lost trawler the Arfon. He also speaks to the narrator and contributor to 'No Fish Today', Tony Barker.
