A man was shot in Luton in what police describe as a "large-scale disturbance" in Dallow Road.

The man, in his 20s, was found in the car park of Dallow Road Primary School in the early hours of Tuesday.

He is being treated in hospital for serious injuries, which are not thought to be life-threatening.

Police remain at the scene and have cordoned off the car park and a nearby property.
