Rochdale fulfil terminally ill boy's dream
Terminally ill Joshua McCormack was named as one of the substitutes for Rochdale in their Checkatrade Trophy match against Hartlepool.
The five year old was diagnosed with a brain tumour last year and was given squad number 55 for the match which he was too poorly to attend. His shirt hung in the dressing room alongside the other squad members.
Rochdale manager Keith Hill said: "It was our way of fulfilling the boy's dream of becoming a professional football and being named in a match squad for his local team."
