Redwood not comfortable with welfare cuts
Conservative MP John Redwood says the government must "look again" at planned cuts to the Employment Support Allowance (ESA).
The ESA is due to be cut by around 30% next April, but Redwood says he is "not comfortable" with the measure. The Conservative backbencher also says he is unhappy with the spare room subsidy, and says the prime minister should review welfare policy "in the round".
