British Asians fear losing money after rupee ban
After Modi's sweeping announcement to do away with ₹500 and ₹1000 notes in India, the effects are being felt far beyond India's borders. For many British Asians who have Indian rupee notes, changing them into smaller denomination has become a problem. The announcement means that they WILL have to travel to India to change their money or risk losing all of it. But some are hoping that the Indian government will intervene and come up with a solution. Asian Network's Rahul Joglekar reports.
