Is there an EU army on the way?
Conservative Iain Duncan Smith and Lib Dem Sir Menzies Campbell discussed talk of a European army, the future role of Nato, and UK defence spending.
They spoke to Daily Politics presenter Jo Coburn after the election of Donald Trump appeared to spur EU leaders to push ahead with their plans for greater defence co-operation, which critics describe as a proposal to create an 'EU army'.
The French defence minister recently said this would "allow Europe to take a step towards its strategic autonomy".
