Children in Need: Coping with Rett syndrome

Meet six-year-old Esme, from Aylesbury in Buckinghamshire.

She has a condition called Rett syndrome, which scrambles the messages from her brain and means she cannot speak - despite desperately wanting to communicate.

Money raised for Children in Need is helping Luton-based charity Rett UK care for her and her family.
