Scientists make photosynthesis breakthrough
Scientists involved in a trial on tobacco plants say they have improved "the most important biological process on the planet" - photosynthesis. The breakthrough could boost crop yields and help meet the global demand for food, as lead researcher Professor Stephen Long, from the University of Illinios, explains.
