On Tour in Paris
The Arts Hour On Tour is in Paris with music stars LEJ and Blick Bassy, Radio France satirist Sophia Aram and Deborah Lukumuena star of the French film hit of the year, Divines.
Nikki Bedi is in Paris to launch The Arts Hour On Tour, a new entertainment show that will be recorded in a different city around the world every month.
The first programme is from the celebrated music venue Le Trabendo which has hosted many famous acts such as The Rolling Stones.
Joining Nikki on stage, in front of a live audience, are musicians LEJ, a trio of young French singers whose mash up of pop hits `Summer 15’ has had over 60 million hits on You Tube and the Cameroonian born blues artist Blick Bassy.
Satirist Sophia Aram is also on hand to deliver a biting satirical take on Parisians and politicians that she performs in her one woman theatre show.
We will also be speaking to Deborah Lukumuena, star of this year’s French film hit, `Divines'. She reveals how her role as the dream friend of a would be girl gangster from `Le Banlieue`, has endeared her to the French public.
Plus cultural journalists Agnes Poirier and Alice Pfeiffer take the temperature of the burning cultural issues in the city and the nation.
