Derry woman, mauled by Akita dog, speaks publicly about her terrifying ordeal
A Derry woman, who was mauled by her neighbours dog, has spoken publicly about her terrifying ordeal. Linda Weir was delivering Christmas cards last year when she was bitten nine times by the Akita dog. The case came to light last week when the owner of the animal, Ryan Kerr from Burnside Gardens, was fined 拢3,000. Linda has now urged dog owners to take responsibility for their animals. She speaks to Teresa Craig.
