Fiji's Farmer Ants
Scientists have discovered unique tropical ants that plant, fertilise, protect and harvest plants. Susanne Renner, a botanist from the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich, headed the team that discovered the species in Fiji, a group of islands in the Pacific ocean.
