Construction underway on Britain's first state funded Hindu secondary school
Construction is underway on Britain's first state funded Hindu Secondary school. Avanti House School in Harrow, Northwest London is one of the largest government funded free schools projects. It's costing 拢20 million pounds. It's the fifth school set up by the Avanti Schools Trust - which now has plans to push through approvals for up to ten more Hindu state schools in the next four years. Project Manager Brijesh Vadhvania says demand is high in areas with a large Hindu population.
