This week on The Arts Hour Nikki Bedi is joined in the studio by the American film director Fisher Stevens, producer of the documentary Before the Flood and also by the Pakistani writer and commentator Saba Imtiaz. Together they will be discussing some of the cultural highlights from the 大象传媒 including; a conversation with the animators of the new Disney film Moana, how Australia is trying to develop a strong cultural reputation with a strong plea from actor Geoffrey Rush, American-British film and TV star Gillian Anderson on campaigning for trafficked Nepali girls in her film Sold, Fisher Steven in the studio talks about using film in general to affect change . We also have a discussion with the 2004 Turner Prize winning artist Jeremy Deller about the future of video installation and to round off, we hear from the Danish singer songwriter Agnes Obel about preserving your identity- a subject she highlights in her new album Citizens of Glass.
