Army veteran: 'I truly believed I had died'
Army veteran Warren McKinlay has been telling 5 live about his year battling a rare brain condition that left him convinced he was dead.
The 35 year-old told Afternoon Edition's Nihal Arthanayake that, during his recovery at Headley Court, he was convinced that he and the other patients had passed away and were in "some kind of waiting room".
Warren is still dealing with the effects of the accident, but hasn't given up his love of speed, he's now part of a motor racing team for injured servicemen and women.
