Luciana Berger MP: 'We need to target far right extremism'
The Labour MP Luciana Berger says authorities across the UK could do much more to target the threat of far right extremism.
Ms Berger spoke to 大象传媒 Radio 5 Live after a man was found guilty of racially harassing her online.
Speaking to Emma Barnett, Ms Berger said: "The far right in our country are increasingly using sophisticated methods to both recruit people and to promote their racist ideologies online.
鈥淲e need to evolve to contend with these threats, as also we had a very specific increase in the number of people referred into the goverment's Prevent programme that comes from the far right. We're seeing it across Europe and we should equally be taking that threat seriously here in the UK."
