'Hero' surgeon puts his life on the line
Surgeon Dr. David Nott told 5 live's Adrian Goldberg he could "feel bangs and bombs and the whole place shaking and your whole body vibrating" when he was saving lives in countries such as Syria and Gaza.
Recently he directed an eight-hour operation to rewire a bomb victims jaw via Skype.
He's been called a "hero" for his work in hospitals in Aleppo and all around the world.
But now there are no hospitals in the city and the bombing by Syrian and Russian government forces continues.
