Welsh town renamed ‘Jumper’ for Christmas
The historic town of Cardigan in Wales has changed its name to ‘Jumper’ for the festive season. The name change has been put in place to celebrate Save the Children's annual Christmas Jumper Day.
The whole town is getting involved and donning its best Christmas knitwear with a giant Christmas jumper being unveiled at the town hall. Farmers have even been asked to dress their sheep up as well!
The mayor of ‘Jumper’ told 5 live Drive: “It’s been great, we’ve even got the police wearing jumpers!â€
