Cambridgeshire sailor receives East Unsung Hero award

The winner of the 大象传媒 East Unsung Hero Award has been announced.

It's gone to Cambridgeshire sailing instructor Vanessa Weedon-Jones, who set up a "Women on the Water" club at the Hunts Sailing Club in St Ives.

Vanessa received a surprise visit from 大象传媒 Look East and will be heading to Birmingham this weekend to attend the Sports Personality of the Year Awards.

She goes up against other regional winners for the prize of National Unsung Hero.
