Stabbed police dog due back to work
A police dog who was stabbed while apprehending a suspect is due to return to work after 10 weeks recuperation.
German shepherd Finn was stabbed in the head and chest, and handler PC Dave Wardell was stabbed in the hand in Stevenage, Hertfordshire, on 4 October.
They had been called in to apprehend a man suspected of robbing a taxi driver at gunpoint.
PC Wardell said it has been a "very emotional" 10 weeks.
