From Chernobyl to the Paralympics
Ukraine-born USA Paralympian Oksana Masters describes her determination to succeed, despite suffering birth defects as a result of the Chernobyl disaster 30 years ago. She spent over seven years of her life in three orphanages in Ukraine after her birth mother gave her up for adoption.
It is a decision Masters admits has now enabled her to live her dream:
