Religion in coloured paper: Allyson and Elspeth
It was a wild and windy day in Bexhill when 60 year old twin sisters Allyson and Elspeth recorded their conversation in The Listening Project Booth.
The twins discussed lots of issues surrounding their childhood and it was at the very end of the conversation when Elspeth asked Allyson about her current religious beliefs. Religion is very important to both of them, neither has ever really lost faith, but it's become more profound and important to them at certain times in their lives.
Elspeth is a committed catholic. Allyson describes herself as a committed Christian and prefers a good time in church and refers to herself as a 鈥渃hurch tart鈥 as all she wants is a spiritual time in church 鈥 but not in any specific church.
