George Michael: The Gay Icon
While many are celebrating the music of George Michael, who has died aged 53, others are noting the role he played campaigning for gay rights. The singer officially came out as gay in 1998 during a TV interview, saying hiding his sexuality had made him feel 'fraudulent'.
