There鈥檚 a town in Massachusetts called Berlin, and another in New Hampshire, but unless you鈥檙e from there, you鈥檙e probably saying it wrong. These American Berliners pronounce the name of their towns with the emphasis on the first syllable. And no-one seems to know why.
