Lynn Faulds Wood: 'I don't need honours to do what I do'
She says "it's lovely" that she was "offered something", but she's "not very interested" in having an award with the word Empire at the end of it, saying it's "insulting" to countries we, "might have considered" part of an Empire.
Faulds Wood says she believes we are "too class ridden as a society" and the system needs modernising. She also says she doesn't need honours to do her work.
