The 大象传媒 One hippos are disappearing from our screens - along with the other circular-themed idents including display dogs, motorbike stunt riders, kites and lawnmowers.

Replacing them are a new set of scenes of British people doing British things. These include wheelchair rugby players, a zumba class, and a group of open water swimmers looking pretty chilly in Somerset.

Len Hurley is one of the swimmers, he said: 鈥淲e鈥檝e had history of winter swimming in Clevedon since the 30s and a group of us have been doing it for quite a long time. Someone from the 大象传媒 asked if we wanted to help promote their programmes and obviously we said yes.鈥�

鈥淲e don鈥檛 stay in long as it鈥檚 quite cold, but when you come out you are quite euphoric - we really enjoy ourselves,鈥� added Len on his experience of the chilly waters.
