Work begins on Ely bypass
The official start to work on Ely's new 拢36m Southern Bypass has got under way.
The scheme, designed to cut traffic around the Ely Station area, is scheduled to open in Spring 2018.
At the moment, traffic backs up between Ely and Soham on the A142 - leaving commuters stuck in daily congestion.
