The Royal Berkshire Hospital has deferred its decision to close the hydrotherapy pool
The initial plan was to close down the pool because it's too expensive to run.
Former Labour Reading West MP, Martin Salter, campaigned for the pool and released a dossier against the closure:
"I'm pleased that the new Chief Executive has had the good sense to start to put right some of the wrongs committed by his predecessor.
"An hour after we launched our dossier, which absolutely destroys the case...they're putting out a statement saying 'okay we're putting it on hold.'
"It was a quite incredible decision. When the Foundation Trusts came in it was all supposed to be about the community involvement."
