Clare Connor: 'Rachael Heyhoe Flint dedicated her life to cricket'

The former England captain Rachael Heyhoe Flint sadly passed away this week after a short illness.

Heyhoe Flint captained England between 1966 and 1978, she even guided her country to lift the Women's World Cup in 1973. She also played in the first ever women's match at Lord's, against Australia, in 1976. Heyhoe Flint was the first woman to be inducted into the ICC's Cricket Hall of Fame in 2010.

The ECB's Director of Women's Cricket, Clare Connor paid tribute to one of sport's true pioneers.
