Wiltshire Schools funding "2.6% better" this year
Nick Gibb the Minister of State for Schools has responded to claims that Malmesbury School will be 8% worse off.
He says the new funding formula will give schools in more deprived areas more resources.
Any school that loses out will have cuts capped at 1.5% a year, in a move to make the distribution of funds fairer across the country.
Tim Gilson, the head at Malmesbury School warned it would lead to larger class sizes, older textbooks and more expensive class trips.
