Christina's husband Bob was diagnosed with prostate cancer in December, 2006. He was 59 but by the time he was diagnosed, it had spread to his bones and he died in December 2008. Christina says Bob was slow to take advice and if he had gone to the doctor sooner, he might have survived.
Christina now spends a lot of her time working with 鈥淧CaSO鈥� a Prostate Cancer Support Organisation, which aims to improve the diagnosis, treatment, care and support of those affected by prostate cancer.
