Vintage brands 'a help' for dementia

Ipswich Hospital has recreated an old-fashioned shop front on its Woodbridge ward.

The display is designed to help dementia patients.

It is filled with boxes and tins of everyday household food and other items from years gone by.

Research has shown patients feel more comfortable if they are around familiar objects.
