The man matching couples for 50 years
An annual matchmaking festival in Lisdoonvarna, Ireland has been a local tradition for more than 160 years.
It was originally created to help farmers find wives at the end of the harvest season, but now the festival is more about finding true love rather than a dowry or property.
The festival is now Europe’s largest singles event, running for five weeks in September, and attracting up to 60,000 people each year.
Finding love is not guaranteed, but the ´óÏó´«Ã½ Travel Show's Christa Larwood meets Willie Daly, who has been matching couples for the past 50 years.
