Anita Bew is a long serving Marlborough Brandt volunteer as well as a volunteer for Project Gambia in Gunjur.

She was recently evacuated recently after some unrest in the country. British tourists had to be flown home because of fears of violence.

It has not put her off volunteering and says she can't wait to go back when she can arrange the funds to do so!
