Claims of a "sweetheart deal" on social care for Surrey
At Prime Minister's Questions, the Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn confronted Theresa May with leaked texts from the Leader of Conservative-controlled Surrey County Council, Kristiina Cooper reports.
Mr Corbyn said they indicated that Surrey had reached a "sweetheart deal" with the Government, prompting the council to call off a referendum on whether to increase council tax by 15 per cent to fund social care.
