Why was council tax referendum cancelled?
Spelthorne MP Kwasi Kwarteng and Labour's only Surrey county councillor Robert Evans review why a planned referendum to raise council tax by 15% to fund social care was cancelled.
Daily Politics presenter Andrew Neil saw a redacted letter that was sent to the Labour councillor when he asked for more information, while the Tory MP said party activists were upset with the planned vote: "We did not get into politics as Conservatives to raise taxes by 15%"
Leaked texts about Surrey funding were read out by Jeremy Corbyn at prime minister's questions.
