In New York City, Yemeni shop owners protest—and pray
Corner shops in New York, widely known as ‘bodegas’, are almost always open. But on February 2nd, hundreds shut down. Shopowners of Yemeni descent took to the streets in protestatf President Trump’s travel ban, which targets nationals from seven Muslim-majority countries. Ashley Cleek was there.
