Royals boss Jaap Stam was pleased his side emerged with three points after they came from behind to beat Brentford 3-2 and move six points behind the Championship leaders.

Jaap Stam:

"It was a very intense game, for myself as well there was a lot happening on the pitch in a positive way. We knew before the game it was going to be tough.

"We needed to be very aggressive, very compact to play against them.

"Luckily for us we went into the dressing room 1-0 up. We started the second half quite well but after that they got back into the game."
