Low-cost houses that measure just 4m by 8m (13ft by 26ft) will be put up in Chelmsford for people on the waiting list who might otherwise be homeless.

They're a modern version of the old-fashioned prefab and the city council says the rents will be kept low.

Reporter Alex Dunlop has a look inside one which is already built, and finds it's fully equipped with "all mod cons".
