Rowing: Consistency the key for Beaumont in 2017
Team GB's Jack Beaumont is hoping he can have a settled year after turbulent 18 months.
"The last 18 months for me has been a complete whirlwind, but this season I've had the best start to a season that I have ever had.
"My aim is to be in a boat, selected in a boat, not a spare, I want to be in a boat all season so then I can have a proper project and team to work with towards the World Championships.
"Super sub was quite a fun nickname, but it's not the thing I want to be.
"I love racing in the single, I've done a lot of it over the last few years, as a spare I ended up going to lots of World Cups racing in the single. I want to use that experience."
